July-Happy Birthday America!

July was a fun and HOT month! We celebrated the 4th of July by going out in the boat to the island with some friends, then to their house for burgers and hotdogs before heading to see the fireworks!! It was the first time Nicholas got to see them, because last year he was only 3 months old and we didn't take him. He REALLY enjoyed the light show and the noise really didn't scare him like we thought it might. We all enjoyed the day and the night together as a family!
We went to our friends' granddaughters one year birthday party the next day. Nicholas got to meet some new people. Though these days he's not too into people he doesn't know. He wants his mama and daddy! Which is fine with us, because he is our life along with our baby girl who's on her way here in a couple of months! :o)
I'm getting bigger and bigger each passing day it seems. Our baby girl is going to be a big one like her brother was it looks like. The last sonogram we had they said the average weight at this many weeks is 2.5lbs and she is 4lbs. She's going to be growing a pound a week or half a pound, something like that. I'm too the point where I'm not getting much sleep at night, because she moves around a lot and I'm having a hard time breathing. Nicholas kisses my belly alot now. We keep telling him his baby sister is in there. He will rub my belly(sometimes pat it rather hard) and then lean in and kiss it and then give me a kiss on the lips. He even said sister a couple times. It's the sweetest thing other than his laugh! He is going through a stage where he is throwing fits at times too. Guess we are starting the terrible two's ahead of time. Mostly he laughs a lot and loves to go to the island and the pool! I enjoy getting to spend more of my days with him these days than at work. He still takes two naps a day though and when he sleeps I try to get things done around the house or nap myself if baby girl stops moving around enough for me too.
He made a new friend with our friends' son. He is quite a bit older than Nicholas, but they love playing with cars together! It's fun to watch them play!
Nicholas is also getting into everything. He's actually pretty good with things I've told him are off limits. He will for the most part stay away from them and play with his toys. He loves getting into the food storage container cabinet too...it's so cute! He is still walking around pushing things and holding onto things, but still won't let go and go on his own. But he will. :o) He's trying all kinds of new foods too, but still is preferring the baby food. But sometimes he won't even eat that.
We started baby girls room this past weekend. Or should I say Ray did. I had to care for Nicholas and can't really be around the fumes anyway. There are some pictures on this page of the room so far. Doesn't really look all that pretty yet, but it will be!! We are enjoying our life with our little family. Just the three of us(soon to be four) hanging out together are the best times in the world. We enjoy it so much! Life to us is all about this awesome family we have here in our home that we've made together. Outside of that nothing else really matters. Our kids and our marriage come first in this world for the both of us. I have a wonderful husband and kid(s) and all we need is eachother to be happy! :o)
Well ,enjoy the new pics in the July folder and the new 3D sonogram pics of baby girl, she looks like Nicholas did in his 3D pics too(yet to be named). We are working on that one too. We have a few projects we are trying to finish before baby girl gets here. There is always a project though.
Until next time take care and be well. Feel free to leave comments on the webpage in the comment section too. It should be under the blog here and you click on it and leave a comment. Sorry there were no videos this time around, stay tuned for next time though for we have a busy month ahead of us!
